(More customer reviews)I purchased the Panasonic ES8075s razor in January 2010 and have been using it regularly up until now (June 14th 2010). It is by far the best razor I have ever used ( I am 73 years old and have had many electric razors).
I shave every other day and this razor breezes quietly, quickly, closely, and comfortably through my beard. I shave wet with a foam from Gillette. The almost vibration free linear motor is quiet, fast, and powerful. A two-day beard is not a problem for it. The blades have remained very sharp. The swivel action of the head keeps the cutters perpendicular to my face. The pop-up trimmer is accurate and sharp. Cleaning is just a matter of holding the razor under the tap with the On button in the cleaning mode. I charge it after every five or so shaves. The shape of the razor makes it easy to hold and shave with.
I congratulate Panasonic on the engineering of this razor!
