Pros: Not a bad product for the money. Although the body seems flimsy, it offers a decent shave.
Cons: Unit has a NiCad battery. Had I known this I wouldn't have ordered this model. I had no idea anyone was still using these batteries. On top of that, it has a light that illuminates only during charging, but never goes out when charged.(Literature confirms this). Because of the NiCad battery, if you don't let it run down, it will develop memory problems and shorten its life, so you must wait until it runs down in the middle of a shave and will take 8 hours to re-charge. Again, literature says this.

Led me to believe unit has Lithium Ion battery.
Motor sounds like a leaf blower. Although it cuts the whiskers, the motor slows down considerably during the process.
Although unit comes with a 2 year warranty, only after receiving the unit literature did I see that the consumer must pay shipping BOTH ways if sending in for warranty. With this plan, they could offer a lifetime warranty, as who would pay half the cost of a new unit for a warranty repair?
I will decide within the next few days whether to replace the unit or not.
Would be interested in hearing from the manufacturer or other purchasers regarding my comments.
